On the morning of Monday, June 1 (Memorial Day), Levi rolled for the first time! He was playing next to Everett, both on their tummies, and he slowly made his way over--from his belly, to his side, and then finally to his back. And then, on that Wednesday (June 3), he rolled to his stomach while reaching for a toy in the living room! He really wasn't impressed with himself, but I sure was. I haven't been able to get him to repeat the maneuver but of course he will in time.
Tuesday the boys had their 6-month wellness checks. Here's the shocker--they're pretty big. Everett weights 20.5 pounds and Levi weighs 21, although honestly Levi feels so much heavier than Everett because he's so relaxed and Everett's kind of stiff or something--just so physical and "ready" all the time.

Our third son was born on February 4, 2011. Hayden Kendrick was born when the twins were 14 months old, so he's adapting to chaos quickly!
On November 22, 2009 we welcomed our fraternal twin boys, Levi Irving and Everett Hobin. They arrived 6 weeks early and spent almost 3 weeks in the Level 2 nursery. Today they're off the charts and you'd never know they were preemies!
Our road to parenthood has been long. After many years of waiting, in 2008 we gave birth to a sweet peanut who lived only 6 minutes. Elisabeth had a random genetic disorder, a lethal form of dwarfism called Campomelic Dysplasia, a condition that gave her only 1% chance of surviving outside of the womb.
