As a snapshot, the boys just started a third meal in the highchairs (lunch). So they eat bottles at breakfast, morning snack, afternoon snack and bedtime, and have meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We still pretty much go by the 6, 9, 12, 3, 6 feedings with a 7pm bedtime, although they can be stretched longer if necessary for both. They are still wanting more than 2 naps a day but I'm really working at stretching them so they get 2 or 3. It's really difficult and I'm seriously pulling my hair out. They are so tired and cranky, it just seems cruel! But I know those 4 little catnaps aren't really great for any of us, so we'll keep working at it.
Week 34 - July 11-17
The boys are on the move, but not yet crawling. We love to see them playing together and laughing at each other all the time. There are days when they can't keep their hands off each other. Adorable.
Two of Everett's favorite toys: the Tylenol bottle (email me if you need to know where to send my Mom of The Year award) and the annoying but really entertaining telephone.
Two of my favorite creatures ever.
Everett doing his almost-crawl thing.
Levi playing with his dad, who is by far his favorite person in the world right now. If Levi walks into the room and doesn't pick up little Levi he'll cry until he does. It's really sweet.
The laundry basket thing worked for about a minute in our house before they got on their knees and fell out. It was great while it lasted, though.
Here's a video of their movement at this age. You don't see it here but I'm almost certain at this point they'd gotten the hang of pushing themselves from their tummies back into a seated position. I thought it was pretty impressive.
