Merry Christmas

Although our first Christmas with the boys was basically like most days around here, it did not escape me that things will never be the same. It will be so much fun to celebrate with them when they're older.

I'm noticing that most of my pics are of the boys sleeping. How boring! Of course when they're up we're too busy to think of grabbing the camera. But tonight as I was feeding Everett I was thinking about how important it is to capture a video of the boys eating. I don't want to ever forget their little movements and sounds.

A pic of them in their Christmas pajamas--Levi, Everett:

When Levi's around and he can help "arrange" the boys we like to take cat naps like this. I love to snuggle with them and feel their weight on me. It reminds me of how immobile I was at the end of my pregnancy and how heavy my belly felt. No wonder!

Christmas's will be fun when they get older. Chesleah is almost 16 and she cried when she opened her gift of a sewing machine. That was my most precious gift this Christmas, seeing her cry. It gets better as the years go by. Treasure each and every day it goes by so quickly. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
